PROJECT SUMMARY
Paschall Truck Lines has a long history and strong presence in the Murray / Calloway County community, but their presence extends across North and Central America. The company selected Murray as the location for their headquarters and this new corporate office building demonstrates their long-term commitment to the business community.
The offices include space for 160 employees, with multiple meeting and conference rooms, and support spaces. The design focus was to offer each employee easy access to natural daylight and the surrounding views on site. In addition, the transparency on the exterior skin presents a welcome and inviting feel to every visitor. Other materials demonstrate the permanence of the building with exposed steel structure and concrete masonry.

The Murray Bank
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Murray Bank has successfully conveyed a presence of stability and accessibility to the community of Murray and the surrounding region. Their success has made it possible to build two branches in Murray and one in Hazel, KY. As the company continues to grow, they worked with Urban Fabric to explore possible options for adding to their main branch on South 12th Street. Together with the Board of Directors we developed an addition to both the north and south ends of the existing facility.
Our primary goal was to add to the existing building in a way that complimented the existing features without detracting from the success of the original design. This was accomplished by extending the addition closer toward the front to respond to the depth created by the existing centerpiece. We also utilized the detailing of the widow’s walk and larger entry glass openings to compliment the accents of the original entry.

Thurmond Insurance
PROJECT SUMMARY
The new offices for Thurmond Insurance are an exciting step for a fast-growing company in Murray, KY. Tim Thurmond wanted his first commercial building to stand out in the community and represent their progressive personality and ideas for business. He also wanted the building to convey an open and inviting feel to the neighboring business community.
His new office building provides open, engaging spaces for his employees and clients with views and natural daylight plentiful from every space in the building. The large multi-purpose space on the second floor has proved invaluable for the many community gatherings and internal meetings that have invigorated Tim’s business and fueled his growth.
